Enhancing Your PID Level
One of the key objectives of PID is to represent user's identity within the Pinnako ecosystem. Users who contribute more significantly will earn more Points, resulting in a higher PID level. The greater the level, the greater the trading fee discounts and rebate rates users will receive.
We plan on introducing additional benefits for higher level PID accounts in the near future. These will include increased amounts of airdropped esPIKO tokens and a higher voting weight multiplier for staked governance tokens.
To elevate your PID level, you'll need to accumulate Points.
Understanding Points
Points primarily serve to quantify user contributions to the Pinnako platform and its community. Users can earn Points through various means, such as trading, minting PLP, and participating in the Pinnako referrer program.
In our pursuit to incentivize and encourage more trading on the Pinnako platform, we are planning to provide traders with greater rewards compared to other users within our ecosystem.

The PID Level Update Mechanism
Changes in PID Level
Our system is designed to update users' PID levels every 24 hours, but only when a transaction that rewards points occurs. In other words, if you want to upgrade your PID level before the 00:00 update, you'll need to engage in an activity such as swapping, depositing/minting PLP, or conducting a small trade. This triggers the refresh and facilitates the upgrade of your rank.
The Decline in Points
Points aren't designed to accumulate indefinitely. Instead, our system promotes ongoing contribution to the ecosystem. To this end, a slight depreciation of points - approximately 5% - takes place every week. This encourages users to maintain an active presence and regular involvement in the platform.
